Hi, I’m Philly!

I’m a tiny 10-pound Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a quiet heart. Life changed suddenly when my owner passed away, and I’m still learning how to feel safe again. Because of that, I can be shy and fearful at first, especially around men and busy households.

What I really dream of is a calm, loving home with one kind woman who understands that trust takes time. Once I bond with my person, I become a loyal little shadow who just wants to be near you while you read, watch TV, or relax together. I’m definitely more of a “one woman dog” and happiest in a peaceful female-only household where I can feel secure.

I’m low-energy and mellow, so I don’t need much besides a cozy bed, soft blankets, and someone patient to love me. Loud environments, young kids, and lots of activity can make me nervous, so I’d do best in a quiet adult home.
