Meet Walter. Walter is the sweetest soul you will ever meet. He is shy at first but once he warms up he is quite a funny character. He loves his people, dogs, and cats. He is happy to just hang out with you and ideally another small dog.
Walter was rescued from an LA County shelter where he was going to be put down due to being a special needs dog. Luckily we got him out just in time and he is doing great. Walter probably suffered a spinal or disc injury long ago that was never treated. As a result, he is a bit wobbly in his hind legs, although he can get around fine. Just maybe not as fast as some other more agile dogs.
Walter is receiving physical therapy to improve the strength in his hind legs and back.He will do best in a less active home with access to a yard or patio.
