UPDATE FROM TIARA’S FOSTERS: Tiara is a very sweet and calm dog! She does have some separation anxiety and will start whining when it’s time to go to bed and when she thinks we’re about to leave, but she never barks. Also, she interacts well with other dogs.
We don’t keep her in her crate at all – we have it open on the floor as she likes to store her toys in there, but at night she sleeps in a dog bed and when we leave we just leave her out – she doesn’t chew, is fully potty trained and is too small to jump on the furniture.
She likes to walk, but she seems happy with shorter walks – she seems most comfortable being lazy.
This lovely poodle came to the East Valley Shelter as a severely neglected, sick, starving and nameless dog. Despite her horribly matted fur and extremely sad state, she was a total sweetheart and Much Love couldn’t turn down the call for help to rescue her. We have named her Tiara because she will now live the life of a princess just as she always deserved. She is getting good care and has a foster home.
