UPDATE FROM HER FOSTER: Tammy is so smart and sweet. She listens to everything I say. No matter what she is doing she’ll come running when I call her name. When I tell her to go and get in her bed (even though she doesn’t want to) she goes right over and stays in her bed. Which is how I started to crate train her. I’ve never known a puppy that is so good that you can crate train her without a crate. Amazing! She doesn’t chew or destroy anything. She is so playful and will play fetch for as long as I have the energy. When I’m working Tammy will just play with a ball or her favorite toy, Monkey. The other day I was taking a shower and Tammy came right up to the shower wagging her tail with excitement. I said “You want to take a shower? Come on in.” I’ve never fostered a dog that wanted to get wet, so to my surprise, she jumped right in and let me give her a bath. She is also great in the car. I really can’t think of a single thing that isn’t great about her. She has no food aggression and doesn’t bark at people or other dogs when we go for a walk. Oh, and she is great on walks. She stays right next to me while we walk. She doesn’t pull on the leash, and if she does, I just make a tsst sound and she immediately stops. She is also a great watch dog. Anytime someone gets close to the front door Tammy lets out a few barks to let me know. I’m going to miss her.
