Stella

She has the most adorable personality and is great with dogs and people. Stella has a great mellow, affectionate nature; loves laps and to be held. All she wants is a warm lap and some love and she will be happy as can be!

UPDATE FROM HER FOSTER: Oh sweet Stella! We rescued Stella from Baldwin Park shelter, where she sat for a month (possibly longer before that) with a dislocated shoulder. After surgery, she’s expected to make a full recovery and get use of her leg back.  She will prance her way right in to your heart!  Stella is about 7 years old, but has the soul of a wise older dog. Not much bothers her, she’s very easy going and mellow, and  doesn’t make a big deal out of life’s little issues.  Stella is the biggest sweetheart, and especially loves to be held like a baby while she receives the many chin and belly scratches you’re bound to lavish on her. When you leave, she quietly waits for you to come back; she’d be a great apartment dog if you have neighbors that like their peace and quiet.  Stella is about 5lbs and totally housebroken, good with cats and dogs, and knows how to use the doggie door when she needs to use the bathroom. Because of her size, we think she’d do best in an adult-only home or with older kids who understand how to handle small dogs.
