Sparky (aka Sardinia) is a cuddly homebody who enjoys nothing more than to burrow someplace warm for several hours. You’ll often find him lying somewhere in a sunbeam, be it a bed, a couch, or your lap. He’s very eager to cuddle next to you as you go to sleep. He’s a remarkably smart dog, knowing scores of commands and how much he’s able to get away with when you’re being lazy. He is housetrained and is not a barker. Despite only three legs, he is not a dog to be underestimated. He loves to go for walks and runs, and has gone on 10 mile hikes up in the mountains. He loves to fetch and be chased with his toys. Sardinia is very protective of his pack and territory, and is only comfortable with people and dogs he trusts. His owners should be familiar with dogs and able to establish themselves as pack leader.
