UPDATE ON LUKE, NOW “SOCHI”: This 2-3 year old shepherd is an olympian in our eyes–he went from the streets to being a sweet, loving companion in record time. He is in a great foster home now and he enjoys belly rubs and food!
FROM OUR BOARD MEMBER WHO PICKED UP LUKE FROM THE STREETS: This is our new dog Luke. I found him today in Inglewood area. His right eye is injured and he has hair loss on his back He is a pure breed white German Shepard about 2-3 years old. He will be stunning once he us cleaned up. He is a bit aloof but I had no issue approaching him and getting a leash in him. Clearly he’s been on the streets a while. I had another dog in the car when I found him and he ignored him and he was unfazed by dogs at vet office. A very calm fellow.[flagallery gid=105]
