One of our adorable “beach puppies” from mama Pebbles. Still too young to be adopted out (born 6/29) but no longer bottle feeding – eating a mixture of canned food and formula. Growing like crazy and 100% adorable puppy clumsy fun! Will need lots of love and training to make sure to develop proper dog and people social skills. Destined to be a terrific family pet!
MEDICAL DISCLOSURE: Before we set up at time for you to meet the puppies, we want to make sure every adopter is aware that the puppies’ mother Pebbles has an autoimmune disease. It is known that certain breeds of dogs (Cockers and minature schnauzers) are more likely to have this disease, but so far it isn’t known whether it is inherited. A genetic component is likely because of the association with certain familial lines, but it has not been studied and characterized. There is no test to determine if there is a genetic predisposition to development of this disease since veterinary medicine does not yet understand the genetics behind it. We have no reason to think the puppies will have it and they are 100% healthy right now, but we need to make people aware of the possibility.
