Sapphire is a very sweet and loving dog. She is loyal and affectionate to her owners and those that show love and patience to her. She has been gentle and patient with all children she’s encountered. She is non-aggressive with other dogs, and even gets along with cats. She is very well house trained, clean, does not exhibit any destructive habits. She is the best snuggler. She is extremely healthy and has never had a health issue. She is energetic and playful – and a very fast runner that can go for miles without tiring! What her new family should know is that she is extremely resource protective and territorial, and this behavior needs to be actively managed around strangers or really anyone outside of her immediate family. She is more wary of men than women. She becomes triggered when she perceives threats to her beloved home or family. She thrives best with someone who can truly treat her like their baby, and care for her as such. You will receive an exponential amount of love in return!
