Sam

Sam and his brother Jack were brought to the West LA Shelter on Jan. 30, 2016, and the staff believed they were approximately 5 weeks old. They went straight to a foster home, where they continue to learn to eat solid food, use good manners (like giving kisses instead of play-biting fingers and toes and staying quiet when locked up) and their newspapers & pee pads.

Sam is very affectionate, playful and a big cuddler. Sam is perhaps a bit more of a ‘Mama’s boy’ as he’s the one who likes to sit at his foster mom’s feet while she washes dishes or crawl into her lap for a nap. Sam has been exposed to small children and the resident cat and respectfully leaves her alone when she gives him a warning hiss. And he’s also held his own playing with an adult terrier mix who stayed with them for about a week.
