FROM ROCKY’S FOSTER: I love this little guy and would love to see him go into a dream home you guys always manage to find. It would be great if someone was home with him or could take him to work. I love having him, he is a big lug who tries to eat everything, but is sweet and loving with our dogs, kids, and cats. He has heart issues that are quite severe, with 5 defects and a murmur of 5 or 6/6. His report lists his prognosis as fair (which I was happy with over poor). He needs to be seen in August for a repeat echo to see if surgery is an option. He has no symptoms now and may not develop any for some time. But he may and it is just an unknown. His life span will be shortened but to what extent is unknown. He will need to be seen by a doggie heart doctor throughout his life. He is an incredible dog who is very sweet. He is like a toddler and gets into everything!

We are hoping to place him with someone who will pack as much love and doggie fun into whatever amount of time he has. His prior owner was told he wouldn’t live more than a couple weeks. But here he is at 8 months happy and doing well.
