Meet Reba! We found Reba down in south central a few weeks ago.  Hard to believe a young Pure Breed Doxie was out roaming the streets but we got a call that she had shown up in someone’s back yard and no one in the neighborhood responded to the signs that were posted so we were able to corner her and get her into our care.  She is now being fostered and looking for her forever home.

Reba is between 1-2 years old, betweeb 8 and 10 lbs., female, and completely healthy.  We believe she had a litter of puppies about 6 months ago as we found her with a scruffy little doxie mix about 6 months old and they were very bonded (she has already been adopted).  Reba loves dogs and cats and is very playful.  She has lots of energy and she loves to play with toys. More than anything, she loves to snuggle and have her belly rubbed.  She is super affectionate.  She is timid at first but once she warms up she is all over you and will follow you everywhere.  She is being crate trained and is a very fast learner.

Reba is a very happy girl however her one drawback is she seems to be quite fearful of men and is easily frightened by loud noises. Because she is such a young dog, with a little work she will overcome this, but for now we don’t suggest a home with young children. Other than that she is a little love bug with a huge heart looking for someone to love.
