Ray Charles

UPDATE FROM HIS FOSTER: Ray has made huge strides and he is house trained! When he was first rescued, he was pretty terrified of people. He is very trusting of my dog, four times his size, and stays near her or approaches me as soon as she does. In just 24 hours, he came out of his crate on his own and jumped on the sofa to cuddle up next to me. Ray is going to need some time to warm up to people, but he has already proven that he is eager to trust and be loved. He sleeps in his crate and stays in there when I am not home, and so far he hasn’t had any accidents and already recognizes his crate as a safe place. Ray is as sweet as they come, and he is going to be the best lap dog and most loyal, trusting companion to the family that welcomes him into their home. He is great with other dogs and will likely do best in a quiet, gentle environment as he slowly warms up to his 2-legged family members.
