Peter is a sweet little boy that had a hard past. Peter languished at the shelter with a broken pelvis, kidney stones, and a spinal injury – all very painful and preventing him from peeing and walking normally. Much Love rescued Peter and he had surgery for his kidney stones, is on a prescription diet and is able to pee normally and walk now thanks to physical therapy. He’s a tough little boy and does not give up. He is a fairly low maintenance dog as in he does not require very long walks. He takes medication (pill form) with his breakfast and dinner, and the medication helps reduce any inflammation in his joints. He loves getting ear scratches and belly rubs. He is potty trained and has not had any accidents. He will sit for treats and loves McDonald’s hashbrowns. He loves licking and will give you plenty of kisses. The vet thinks he is around 4 or 5 years old as his teeth are in very good condition. He will do best in a household without little kids. He is ok with meeting other dogs but prefers not to live with other dogs. It will also be better if he can be with someone that works part time, works from home, or stays at home.
