Parsley is a little gal that someone alerted us to at the North Central Shelter—she had two broken legs! Parsley has really touched the hearts of so many of you, as well as Much Love. Her courage is astounding and her prognosis is excellent because of the freshness of the fractures. They think she may have fallen off a balcony or something very high. She has a long road ahead of her to recovery but we will make sure it is filled with love and as little pain as possible. We have created a page on our Strut Your Mutt fundraising page. If you would like to donate to Parsley’s care, please got to http://www.strutyourmutt.org/

Her video will be uploaded to our strut page and on facebook and updates on her will be given periodically so check in. We will be strutting for her and hopefully she will be with us at Strut Your Mutt!!!!!! I know some of you have been inquiring about adopting her. This is amazing and we urge you to fill out a quick application. There is no reason why she should not go into a home as soon as possible to start her new life of healing. She is having her first fracture fixed Thursday morning (August 1). The surgeon wants to wait a few days and let her recoup a bit and will perform her second surgury on Monday or Tuesday (Aug 5 or 6). They had to do lots of pre-op procedures like x-rays of her chest, bloodwork, etc. They wanted to make sure there was no damage to her chest. They also had to order special pins because she is so tiny. I assure you she is in the best hands and will get the treatment she deserves. Again thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
