Merengue is such a sweet dog, but she prefers to play with humans or toys, other dogs…not so much! She is snuggly, devoted and sits at your feet, or stares at you wanting to be petted… about 45 minutes out of every hour!
She’s crate trained, and loves to just go in there, and just chew on whatever toys she has at her disposal. She house broken, and is pee pad trained as well. She has the energy of 3 puppies.. and is a whirlwind of energy. She needs an active home that will provide her with lots of exercise, structure and leadership. She needs a very dog savvy adult to reinforce her training with consistency. She is not a good fit for a home with kids or cats.
Merengue will have you moving your hips and snapping your fingers, she is such a wonderful partner! This chihuahua/pit mix is only 22 lbs.–perfect for a dance-off in your living room!
