Maven

Maven is a sweet girl who was rescued from East Valley shelter in LA. Her prematurely grey whiskers give her a look that’s older than her actual years – but it also combines with her dark amber eyes and brindle coat to give her a stunning appearance that always draws compliments! Maven won’t tell us much about where she came from, she came to the shelter as a stray, but she is housebroken and is quickly learning her basic commands. You see, Mae-Mae (as we call her) loves treats and is easy to train! With her temporary foster/boarder, she’s been crated without complaint, and has been great in all of her encounters with other dogs (in crates when she’s out and vice-versa, off-leash separated by gates, and on-leash). Really, she’s more into people than she is other dogs. She loves to go walking and hiking (her walking/on-leash behavior is already really good!), but she’s also happy to curl up on a dog bed next to you or on the couch with you — humans are clearly the fascinating celebrities of Maven’s world. 🙂
