This little guy is afraid of stairs and has some trust issues. He is fine with other dogs but can feel easily intimidated by people. We are looking for a foster or adopter who can help build up his confidence and trust in humans! Someone with a dog in the house already might be wonderful to help Hardy in gaining confidence. He is definitely a cuddle bug when he is feeling secure, though. Loves belly rubs and playing with toys.
FROM HARDY’S FOSTER:
Hardy is doing great, getting healthy, and even showing playful signs of happiness with his toys.
He plays by himself with a toy and tosses its any direction in the air. It’s really cute. He is a good dog and delightful.
He’s, thank goodness, completely house broken. I was gone for about 7 hours today, and he waited until I arrived home.
Hardy is a little corgi doxie mix, who may have been attacked by another dog. He has lots of bite marks and we are getting them treated. He’s 4-5 years old, and he’s a little shy at first but will warm up and give the love you give back. He seems fine with other dogs, despite what he may have been through.
