Now that Meghan and Harry have moved to Canada, there’s room for a new royal in town . . . Meet the refined and divine poodle-mix Duchess. She is about two years old, sports a hairdo similar to QE2 herself (hypoallergenic hair to boot), and though she is a little shy at first her loving side comes out once you gain her trust. She will be right at home on the throne of your lap.
She’s been loving rides in the horse and carriage (aka the car) a lot, with an excited curiosity about where she is going. Her excitement also comes through on walks – she’s not the best on the leash because of her interest in everything, but with training she’ll be easy to handle while taking a stroll. She’s good with other small dogs and is on the submissive side, we’re not sure about big dogs yet because we haven’t observed her around any! She seems to be crate trained already too, though she whines and barks at first, she calms down and is content hanging out.
