Dani

UPDATE FROM DANI’S FOSTER: I have been fostering Dani since Tuesday. We adore this dog! Her past was obviously one of neglect. She is a bit skittish, but calms down really quickly. She is wary of men, so we are giving every guy treats to present to her in order to turn her distrust into adoration. Because of her past, Dani doesn’t quite know how to play with other dogs, but she is quickly coming out of her shell with them. She loves her stuffed toys, and will follow you everywhere you go.

Dani is very responsive to training and really wishes to please. She is quickly becoming house trained and, in general, getting used to being in a house, something I don’t think she has experienced until this week.

With a little positive reinforcement and kindness, Dani will be the most amazing companion. We are smitten!

Lovely 10-month old Dani is a bit scared after her experience at the shelter, but she warms up quickly and is a sweetheart.
