Coco

Sweet Coco is a pure bred mini Dachshund who was dumped at the shelter after accidentally being hit by car driven by her owners. She was badly injured and needed surgery to repair her broken pelvis amongst other fractures. She should make a full recovery, but it will take a bit of time to fully heal.

Coco is the most affectionate girl. She was trying to roll over for belly rubs right after surgery!  She gives meaning to the term lap dog as it is her favorite place to be. She loves to sleep in the bed as close as possible. She is docile, sweet, and full of love. She likes dogs, cats , and all people, and she bonds very quickly. Coco will do best in a home where someone is around most of the time , or can take her to work. She just wants to be around her person. Coco needs to be kept from walking around for a few more weeks so she can fully heal. She should be good as new once she fully recovers.
