Chicklet

 

Chicklet is a happy, playful, smart 3 month old pit mix. She is wonderfully sociable. She loves other dogs and, in her foster home with two older dogs, plays with them when they want but is good about leaving them alone when they don’t want to play. Take this little goofball for a walk and she will greet everyone you pass with a big tail wag, often standing in front of them insisting on some attention. Chicklet has great energy for a city environment: give her a nice, 45 minute walk in the morning, and she spends the day playing inside with her toys and snoozing in sunbeams. Another 45 minute walk in the evening and she sleeps through the night, in her crate. She is about 90% housetrained; if you have a doggy door, she will use it on her own when she needs to go. As she is used to having access to a yard whenever she needs, we do not know how she would be in an upper floor apartment or condo. Chicklet would be a great companion for someone who works at home or a family.
