UPDATE FROM HIS FOSTER: It is exciting to see how quickly Boris is progressing. He is a sweet, gentle giant whose resilient spirit and robust health is becoming more apparent each day. He is more readily willing to come into the house, he wants company, inviting tummy rubs and attention. He is a great watchdog but most of the time he is calm and relaxed. Huge appetite. A real sweetheart and trooper.

Animal Cruelty at is worst. Much Love has seen a lot in our day but this was just awful and we could not stand by and let this dog suffer anymore. His name is Boris. His previous owners watched him get hit by a car six months ago and instead of bring ing him to a vet they tied him with a chain in their backyard to heal on his own. As you can see by the leg that was probably not a good option. The neighbors could not stand it anymore and contacted us. He had been chained his whole life. He is a husky shepherd mix and is so sweet despite the cruelty for his 3 years of life. Much Love is fixing his leg and it should be good as new or almost considering it is such an old fracture that healed. He is very shy but warms up quickly. He needs an understanding foster or forever home that will show him what love feels like and to make sure he knows he will never suffer like that again.
