Atticus

Atticus is a super sweet and easy going little guy. We found him in the medical room at the shelter with a severely broken leg. Despite being in pain, he was gentle and loving. There was no way we were leaving him behind! Unfortunately, his leg had to be amputated but he has had a fast recovery and is doing great! Atticus is house-broken and an all-around great dog who even loves baths!

The vet thinks he’s around 10 years old, and he is a little hard of hearing so can react if he’s surprised. But this can be remedied by approaching him where he can see you until he is used to his surroundings. He also has a bit of separation anxiety, so his foster recommends his forever home have another fur sibling to keep him company when his people aren’t home. If there aren’t any other furballs in the house, he’ll need a patient family to work with him on his anxiety, but in return you’ll get a funny and perfect new addition to your family who loves to burrow into blankies and snuggle in your arms.
