Our dear little Asteroid has been returned to us—through no fault of her own!
FROM HER FORMER ADOPTER: Asteroid has been such a wonderful dog and I’m going to miss her terribly. She is always so happy, loves to play fetch, loves to play with her leash when you walk her (a little tug of war) and is housebroken. She has such a great disposition.
When at home, she loves to sit on your lap and hang out or is ready to play. She tries to take ice cubes out of my mouth as soon as she hears me crunch on one (she loves ice cubes).
Her diet was a little tricky at first but I got it down. She seems to have a sensitive tummy to rich-like foods and appeared to be allergic to some ingredients in certain foods.
I feed her Nature’s Variety Limited Ingredient Diet (Turkey Meal Formula), but I also mix in some pumpkin for her as she doesn’t seem to be a fan of just dry food and one extra thing I do is break up small pieces of the jerky treat. She loves it. I’ve probably spoiled her, but can’t help it.
She is the best dog anyone could ever imagine. She loves going to the dog park and some male dogs certainly do like her (ha)….she gets along with both small and large dogs.
The only thing she gets a little sketchy around are mail carriers…go figure. She just barks at them….she’s never been aggressive or attacked anyone with me. I always tell people, she’s all bark, no action. She loves to chase after squirrels and sometimes birds, but squirrels for sure.
Asteroid is the most wonderful dog and anyone would be so lucky to have her. I would love to know when she’s been adopted and happy to talk to anyone that would like to know more about her. Much Love is a great organization and have and will continue to sing your praises.
This baby had babies and now they are all weaned and up for adoption, so now it’s Asteroid’s time to find a permanent home where she can go back to being a young care-free pooch! Her foster mom thinks she is part Bichon, and all sweetheart! Come and meet her and experience her intergalactic cuteness in person.
