Etsy

Etsy is our miracle puppy. She was dumped at a city shelter seemingly seizing, incoherent, and unresponsive. Luckily a few Much Love volunteers happened to be at the shelter that day and upon seeing her, raced her to an emergency vet. At first the vets thought she was suffering from some kind of head trauma given her symptoms. We thought maybe she had been hit by a car or dropped. With supportive care Etsy made a bit of improvement but not much, and the vets began to wonder if something else was going on. They ran a few tests and it began to look like Etsy had a liver abnormality that could cause the same symptoms. They quickly put her on a special liver diet and medication. Within hours her symptoms were gone and she was behaving like a normal puppy! Etsy is now a playful happy girl.  She is outgoing, energetic, and absolutely adorable.  She loves dogs and cats, loves to play, snuggle, and especially have her tummy rubbed. Etsy is very smart and attentive.  She already knows her name, is learning to  come when you call her, and to potty outside. Etsy needs a few more tests which will indicate how to treat her moving forward but her future looks very bright.  Now all she needs is a loving home!
