The beautiful Bertha came to us a tad dirty and matted, but her adoptive family saw through that and knew that they had found a very special dog. Bertha is about 10 years old and as you can see, she has plenty of pep in her step!

From Bertha’s New Family: Bertha now known as Piper is doing very well in her new home in Pasadena.  Attached are some photos of Piper in her new home and enjoying life in Pasadena with me and Shanta.

We regularly take her to the dog park to play with other pooches and for walks around the Rose Bowl.  She and Shadow (our cat) are getting along as well as can be expected.  They are getting used to each other.  We think she’s gained about a 1 lb. since she’s been here.  She has her own blanket and loves to play with her toys.  Also, she loves getting treats for being a great girl!  Thank you for the new addition to our family.  We love her more and more every day!
