Volunteer. We are a 100% volunteer run organization and are
always looking for new volunteers!
If you would like to know more about our organization, browse this web site, visit us at one of our adoptions, and when you are ready come to one of our volunteer orientations.
volunteer orientations
All new volunteers must attend a new volunteer orientation before they can begin volunteering. After you attend our orientation you can come volunteer with us anytime. All volunteers must be 18 or older or accompanied by an adult at all times.
Volunteer orientations are held at our 2 adoption sites, on the 1st Saturday of each month at 12:30pm at the Tails of Santa Monica location. And the 3rd Sunday of each month at 12:30pm in Parking lot of Lost Planet location (sorry no parking in the lot). You don't need to let us know you are coming, but we hope to see you soon!

volunteer duties
However much time you would like to spend, whether it be walking dogs for an hour or joining us at our weekend adoptions, no amount of time you can contribute is too little.
And volunteering isn't only about spending time with the animals. If you have an expertise that you would be willing to offer, such as accounting practices, fundraising skills or even sewing skills for our doggie beds, we would love to hear from you.
