Before adopting a dog, we require an approved application, a homecheck, a signed contract and a $200 donation for dogs and $250 for puppies to cover the dog's health-related expenses and boarding while in our care. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, have current shots and are microchipped.

Hi I'm Chunky and I am a beautiful adult pit mix girl who wants to come home with you! I love, love, love all people and kids and my tail really never stops wagging. I have a gorgeous black and white coat that shines and makes me look so beautiful that when you walk me people will turn and stare. I like most dogs - but some I don't really want to be friends with - so I would love to be your one and only. First - Cletis would like to thank the poker tournament guys for donating funds to Much Love so we could rescue him. Thanks guys! This fluffy little dude is calm and quiet and just wants that special home where he can be pampered. He is good with other dogs and loves people. He doesn't bark and loves to just watch the world go by. He is great guy! How can you resist the underbite??

Is this little guy cute or what? Radda is a spunky little dude who is only 5.7 pounds and thinks he is 57 pounds! He has tons of personality and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES people. He will sit on your lap and give you a thousand kisses if you let him. He is bossy with other dogs - which is quite hysterical to watch since he is such a tiny speck of a thing. If you are looking to adopt a best friend - here he is!

Adorable does not even begin to describe this little terrier girl! Very submissive and affectionate - Stefani would be a great dog for any family. She is playful and fun and loves other dogs. She is incredible!

Mayer

Mayer is a VERY special puppy! He stole our hearts at the South LA shelter in August. He was in with 3 fluffy little white dogs who were jumping all over him and barking and yipping - and he just sat there and calmly wagged his tail. When the male shelter worker went into his run he was submissive and sweet. We just couldn't leave him there! He is calm and friendly and loves people. He will be very easy to train - loves treats and aims to please. He has the most gorgeous green eyes. Mayer is a truly gentle, kind boy who needs a loving home!

BOSS HOGG is a great dog! He is about 3 years old and looks to be a basset hound shepherd mix. How else would you explain the short stubby legs and long-long body! And his fur is super soft. He is a goofball of a dog that is looking for a home with a loving person. He can get scared sometimes - he doesn't like chaos or loud noises or lots of energy - so the best home would be one that is mellow and with an understanding person who will give him love and build his confidence. You could not ask for a more loyal dog. Boss has had extensive obedience training. Who ever adopts this lucky guy can meet anytime with the trainers at Canyon View Ranch to get additional lessons free of charge!

OMG! It's a cute dog and his name is Usher! This little man is so friendly and LOVES people! He has tons of personality and is silly and a total goofball. He has energy - but then can totally chill out on your lap or in a crate. Usher is about as cute as they come!

Gomer

Gomer's new favorite pastime now that he is out of the shelter is poker since the poker tournament guys donated money to spring him from South LA! He is SO friendly and fun. He has long legs and is so skinny - could use a sandwich or two. He loves other dogs and people. He can be a little shy - but warms up quickly. Check out his ears! So cute!
