Before adopting a dog, we require an approved application, a homecheck, a signed contract and a $175 donation for dogs and $200 for puppies to cover the dog's health-related expenses and boarding while in our care. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, have current shots and are microchipped.

Hello, my name is Rusty. I am a tan colored lab/beagle mix-at least that's what I was told! I am roughly 7 years old. I guarantee that you will love adopting me. I am a very quiet house dog. I won't make a peep if you tell me not to. I weigh about 55 lbs and love meat but hate fruits and veggies. I am trained to lift each of my legs for you to wipe me down before entering the house after a long walk. My fur is as soft as silk since I've noticed that people can pet and rub by back for hours at a time. I am great with children and peacocks. Yes, peacocks. For two years I lived across the street from the Arcadia Arboretum, home of the peacocks. One of my favorite hobbies is to bring home peacock chicks, unharmed. I am also musically inclined. I sing everytime I hear live piano. I need a permanant home. Please adopt me and I will love you forever!

This gorgeous blue pit is PERFECT!!! He is so sweet and very engaging. He has big deep-set eyes and loads of extra skin around his neck and face to love on. He is great with 90 % of the dogs he meets and he is working on liking that last 10%. He LOVES people! This is a very special boy with an A+ personality.

This little flower is so adorable! She is so shy at adoptions that she gets overlooked - but as her foster knows - she has tons of personality at home! Please come meet her! Note from her foster: She is very shy at the adoptions, but has lots of personality and spunk at home. She loves to run around the family room and back yard acting really silly. She loves to play chase with Jack (my dog); she rolls around and wrestles with him. She loves to go for walks. She knows “sit” and can use a doggie door. She gives lots of kisses and loves to have her tiny belly rubbed. She would definitely love to have a small to medium sized doggie play mate. She always sleeps next to Jack on the couch…she even had her head on him last night while we were watching TV.

Bohdi is a sweetheart! He is smart and knows many commands. He is great in the home - is totally fine being by himself or laying at your feet. He has some fear issues we are working on, but 99% of the time he is just a typical pup! His beautiful black coat and warm brown eyes make him quite a handsome boy. He needs that loving, calm home where he can play with his toys, go on fun hikes, and learn that life is great!

Despite being completely emaciated and clearly neglected, this girl has the most lovely temperament. She craves human and canine company and is just so quiet, demure, and sweet. We are doing everything we can to help put some meat back on her bones and our vets think she will be healthy and ready for a home soon. The perfect home for me we think would be with a family and other dogs and where I won't be left alone very much. I'm not that thrilled with being left alone! I am a great guy who is ready to give lots of love to a family who will adopt me!
