George Clooney

George Clooney needs foster!
Shepherd MixBlond w/ Whitemale
adult X-Large/75 lbs.

Please meet George Clooney! When we found him, he had a 3 foot electrical cord wrapped tightly around his neck. Even though he didn’t come from a good home, he is super sweet. He is a giant love bug who gives kisses and will give you his paw to shake when asked. He is super smart and super sweet. He is good with most dogs - but not dominant or high energy dogs. He really needs to be an only dog in the home so he can give you all his love! To say he doesn't like cats is an understatement. NO kitties in George's forever home. He is a handsome boy looking for that perfect home.

Vixen

Vixen
female
young

Vixen loves to play with a toy, a reed, or her foster brother. He’s younger and much bigger but she always wins. She loves her scratching post (sits atop it, leans over to pick at it) and is teaching her brother to use it instead of the bed. (Thank you, Vixen!) She lets you know when their bowl is empty or brother is getting into trouble. She's a very smart little girl! Her coat is unusual, not really grey but black-tipped hair over a soft white undercoat giving her a smokey look, and she loves to be brushed. She makes feline friends quickly but takes her time with two-legged ones, climbing into your bed at night, rubbing up against you and sometimes just talking to you. Because of her talking and her size her foster mom sometimes calls her “Pip-Squeak.” She follows her big brother around like his shadow. She would love to be with other cat(s) or younger people with lots of energy to play with her. When Vixen finds her forever home, both foster mother and big brother will miss her.

Juliette

Juliette
Black & Whitefemale
adult Medium/8 lbs.

Juliette is a lover who is soft spoken and sweet. She wags her tail like a dog and although not a lap cat she loves to be near you, particularly when sleeping! She likes other cats although is not particularly playful and when the mood strikes her she likes to play by herself. The rest of the time she asks for head rubs and smiles her warm loving eyes at you. Could you be her Romeo?

Clark

Clark
Lab MixBlack male
adult Large/60 lbs.

Meet Clark! Once you get to know this guy he will steal your heart! He has been misunderstood most of his life and is looking for that special someone who will take the time to love him as much as he will love you back. Clark was adopted out as a puppy by Much Love back in 2002. Unfortunately, it seems the owners did not properly understand how to care for him and raised him to be a sometimes nervous and anxious guy. Then after he was a part of their home for 8 years they dumped him back at Much Love! Can you imagine!? Clark is now in a foster home with two other dogs who love to play and wrestle with him. He gets along great in his foster home where there is love and consistency. He loves to play fetch, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and is a mellow guy who likes to lounge around with you nearby. Clark is not well suited for kids as they confuse him, but will do fantastic in a home with anyone who is willing to take the time to get to know him. Clark is a healthy black lab mix, 8ish years old, and about 60 pounds. He has been neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Wyatt

Wyatt needs foster!
American Bulldog/Boxer/PointerWhite w/ brown spotsmale
young X-Large/65 lbs.

Wyatt is a young, playful, energetic dog who desperately needs a home! He is very sweet and loves people. He is fine around other dogs if the dogs like to play. He has a "big hello" so he would overwhelm a shy or submissive dog - but he truly just wants to play! All of his energy is good natured and goofy - no aggression. He is eager to please and learns quickly. He is great in the home - housebroken and a good boy if left alone. He needs daily exercise to keep his thin legs strong. He’s a wonderful walker, hiker and loves short runs of a couple miles. We also suggest easy stretching exercises for treats to keep him happy and healthy. He is a wonderful dog!

Sardinia

Sardinia
Italian Greyhound MixBrown & Blackmale
young Small/23 lbs.

Rescued from the Baldwin Park shelter, this dog's mysterious past and the loss of his front right leg is lost to the ages. Sardina was timid and shy when first out of the shelter, but he has grown to be a loving, energetic, goofy companion after several months of TLC. He can be territorial and protective of his pack but is comfortable with people and dogs on neutral territory and he seems to ignore cats! Sardinia has come a long way on his leash training. He occasionally barks at dogs on the same street, but can be brought under control with a command and a tug. He may also bark at strangers who approach with eye contact and talk to him. He sure doesn't let his 3 legs slow him down - he is active and energetic, he goes on 3 walks a day and usually 3 runs (3-5 miles) a week. He loves to hike too! His favorite pastimes are sleeping, tormenting fuzzy chew toys, running, hiking, sitting on laps. Please come to an adoption to meet him! Keep up with Sardinia's life in his foster home (nicknamed Sparky) by being his friend on Facebook! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sparky-the-3-legged-Dog/172693339412063?sk=wall

Gracie

Gracie needs foster!
Boxer/Swiss Mountain Dog/Pit/Lab/MuttTri Colorfemale
young Large/55 lbs.

Gracie is a beautiful Boxer/Pit/Swiss Mountain Dog/Lab/Mutt who is a little over a year old. She LOVES people and is great with kids - we would say kids over 10 years old just because of her energy. She can be friends with other dogs - but she has to meet them correctly. We think she would be great in a home without other canine pals. She is working with a trainer on how to interact with other pups and whoever adopts this special girl will learn how to handle her and continue to make her comfortable in this world! She is very sweet and gorgeous and needs that understanding, loving, dog savvy forever home! Check out the video made by her wonderful trainer - David Roe!

Gilbert Grape

Gilbert Grape
Pit MixBluemale
young X-Large/70 lbs.

This gorgeous blue pit is amazing!!! He is so sweet and very engaging. He has big deep-set eyes and loads of extra skin around his neck and face to love on. He LOVES people! Though he has found doggie friends - he is too choosey for us to feel comfortable putting him in a home with other dogs so he would need to be your one and only. He has so much personality and charm - he would be a great BFF!
