UPDATE FROM ZUMA’S FOSTER: He is so independent that when the rest of his siblings are sleeping, he prefers to cuddle up on us and sleep on our chest! What a ham. Easily claimed my boyfriend as his new mama. Zuma is definitely the more outgoing one. He had an accident in the crate on our way home and tried his best to warn us! He’s also a hungry little hippo which is understandable with the amount of energy he has! He’s quite the vocal little explorer.
FROM HIS RESCUER: As some of you know I go to the shelter once a week and help charla transfer dogs from the high kill shelters to WEST LA. Well we went today and we transferred 37 dogs. Amazing. As I was leaving a man turned in 4 puppies. The doc told me that they would euthanize cause they do not have a mom and are only four weeks so of course I could not let them die. So here they are and the stats.

I am very interested in adopting one of these pups. It doesn’t matter which one, they both need homes and love. I’ve had dogs all my life ranging from labs and boxers, to yorkies and poodles. Large and small, I’ve had them and loved all of them with every thing I have. My last little girl Chelsea (a silky terrier) had to move back to Boston with my ex. I miss her still to this day, but she is happy in Boston and there are other pups that need help.

Please let me know what I need to do and what the cost will be.

      Thank you,

      Heather Hawkes
