On November 15th, Much Love Takes Over The West LA Shelter: Here’s How You Can Help!

Dilton and volWe have an exciting event happening next weekend on Saturday, November 15th at our “Bringing Love” to West LA Shelter event! We have an amazing group of volunteers and it should be a great time. Much Love volunteers will work with potential adopters to find the perfect dog or cat among the great animals at the West L.A. shelter.

Register: To sign up for this event, go to the Volunteer Website (click here) or email Volunteer@MuchLove.org. Please specify if you can work all day, or just one shift, and if there are any specific duties you can help with (see list below).

DUTIES WE NEED HELP WITH:
We will need people to help in the cat rooms also.
We need photos taken at event
We need to put together gift bags for adoptees
We will need balloons and decorations
Town and Country Liaison
Rover and Frazey’s rescue bag table

???????????????????????????????Location: The West LA Shelter is located at: 11361 W. Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA (W. Pico Blvd. between Purdue and Corinth). View map here.

Parking: Volunteer parking is located on the street or in the structure located at Purdue and Tennessee which is free on weekends. Do NOT park in the main shelter lot at the front.

Timeline for Event:
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH:
– Check in with the Lead Volunteer upon arrival!
– PLEASE WEAR t-shirt from last year’s event OR a Much Love volunteer t-shirt.
– LUNCH, water and snacks will be provided.
– PLEASE NOTE that by participating in this event you are consenting to your image or likeness to be used in Much Love promotional videos or photography.

Please plan to arrive on time and check in with one of the leads (Nikki, Larry, Nancy W, Krissy, Erin, or Christine DeVera). We will need everyone’s help with setup and tear down but tasks will be assigned as needed.

Setup Time: 8:30am
Event Times: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Breakdown Time: 4:00pm

First Shift Time frame: 8:30am-12:30pm
Second Shift Time frame: 12:30pm-4:00pm
