Old Navy Mascot Search Nationwide Launch Party

Much Love is honored to help launch the Old Navy
nationwide search for a new “spokesdog” to replace its
much-loved mutt, Magic, a canine mascot who starred in more than 60 TV
ads in the late ‘90s. The new Magic will star in an Old Navy
advertising campaign and become the new mascot for the brand.
Join us at their flagship store and you can be the
first to enter the contest, which is open to dog owners across the
country from April 24 through May 29. A panel of celebrity judges will
select six finalist dogs that will be featured at Old Navy store
locations throughout North America. From there, America will vote
to select the winner.
Much Love dogs will be available for adoption!

Brentwood's Barrington Dog Park was full of
shrieks and howls not just from the spooky figures hanging from the
trees that scared the crowd, but from the laughter at the amazing
costumed canine contestants in the the 4th Annual Bow Wow Ween costume
contest. The 2005 event was presented by Dogwell Dog Treats to benefit
Much Love and the Friends of Barrington Dog Park in association with
Los Angeles Dept. of Parks and Recreation.

The other day I saw two dogs walk over to a
parking meter. One of them says to the other, "How do you like
that? Pay toilets!"
Performing to a riot of laughter in the annual
series of hilarious performances, Hollywood's top comedians donated
their talents to the Fourth Annual Celebrity Comedy Event on Wednesday,
August 10, 2005. Performers this year included Jon Lovitz, Kevin
Nealon, Jeff Garlin, Rachael Harris, Greg Fitzsimmons and Elon Gold.
There were cocktails to ensure the laughter kept rolling, tasty food to
keep stomach muscles strong and a live and silent auction – all
in the honor of homeless animals.

Rescue.
