A Plea For Paddington

Sweet little 3 month old Paddington was rescued in October from a LA City Shelter.  Because of her terrible case of mange, which is completely treatable, she was never going to be seen by the general public.  Even if she was, who would be able to see beyond her wrinkly skin to her true beauty?  Paddington is a typical, silly pit puppy.  She enjoys squeaky toys and bouncing around with people.  We are confident she will grow back her brindle coat and be beautiful both inside and out.  But we could use your help. Medicated dips and baths plus supportive antibiotic treatments are going to be part of her routine for a couple of months.  And, with winter coming, poor little Paddington will need warm bedding and a sweater or two!  You can help by sponsoring Paddington, donating any sum to offset her medical costs, or adopt her.

It’s Kitten season!

While it is no secret that it is kitten season this time of year,  this is one of the worst seasons in years. It is truly shocking the amount of kittens entering our city shelters this year on an hourly basis.  There is just not enough room for all of them and disease spreads quickly due to the overcrowding. They are being euthanized by the dozen.  It’s heartbreaking. Sadly all the rescue groups are inundated as well.  With limited funds, there are just so many we can all rescue.  Much Love Animal Rescue is no exception.  After a visit to the South central Shelter Much Love Animal Rescue has 8 new kittens needing donations and homes. We will not be unable to rescue anymore unless we can pay for and place these first.

Adorable puppy AYUMA needs help and a home

Hi!  I’m Ayuma I am almost 5 months old now. I am probably a Lab/Shepherd mix (look at my ears!) and I weigh about 25 pounds now. I love to play, play, play and I love other dogs. I am potty trained and crate trained. I was left at a shelter because I have a bad front leg – but it doesn’t keep me down. I am starting physical therapy and they think I will get so much stronger and my leg will be great!  I can still run and play and be a regular puppy. I am very affectionate and love to cuddle.

We need to raise money for my physical therapy and surgery!  If you can help – please donate!!  Also – please tell all your friends about me.  I need a home!  I am a great puppy!
