Before adopting a dog, we require an approved application, a homecheck, a signed contract and a $175 donation for dogs and $200 for puppies to cover the dog's health-related expenses and boarding while in our care. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, have current shots and are microchipped.
I was named for the volunteer at the city shelter who
helped set me free. I am really friendly and get along just fine with other dogs. Once I get to know you I am quick to wag my tail and trot on over and say hi! I'm not that big so I would fit perfectly into your life. I'm not all that thrilled with kids- and I've never met a cat so I'm not sure about those. I am really, really sweet and would love to find my forever home soon. Come down and see me at an adoption and you will fall in love!
I'm a little guy with loads of personality. I get along great with my brother, Reynolds, and every dog I have met so far. I like car rides, sitting quietly in a lap, long walks on the beach, and treats! I am healthy, happy, and ready to find my forever home.
Amazing and sweet girl who was at the North Central Shelter for months! Maybe because she is just another brown dog - but we think she is very special. She is very loving and affectionate and will roll over on her back to get belly rubs when you go to pet her. She is a beautiful girl with light brown eyes and a gorgeous carmel colored coat. She wiggles her whole body when she is happy and when she knows she gets to go on a walk! A perfect dog who deserves a perfect home. This amazing dog is named after dog loving soul singer Joss Stone - who is also a Much Love foster! We rescued her on April 11th in honor of Joss Stone's 21st birthday. Happy Birthday Joss! UPDATE: By a total fluke, Joss broke her leg the other day. :( She had surgery though and will be just fine! A few months of R & R and she will be good as new. Now she desperately needs a forever home to recover in and be showered with love!
They call me a Shih Tzu, but I swear I have some Bulldog in me too because I am a low rider with broad shoulders, a snorty voice, and a goofy smile. I only have one eye, but don't let that fool you - I get around just fine. I am playful, lovable, and just want to hang out by your side. I am mellow and love to hang with my brother Jerry. That said I would be OK to go in a home with your existing dog or no other dogs at all. I am easy going, very sweet, and ready to find my forever home.
Ant is a sweet little guy who loves kids and even cats! He is making great progress with his housetraining. He is loveable and sweet and friendly. He does have a heart problem that is easily controlled with medications. It doesn't let it slow him down either! He loves going for jogs with his foster mom.
Hey I'm Maury! To be honest- we have no idea what mix I am! We just know I am extremely handsome. I am a big goofball and just want to play. I get excited to see everyone and wag my whole booty when you approach me. I am smart and learned how to to sit and catch treats in all of 5 minutes! Sadly, I was left alone and TIED UP in a back yard my for my whole life until Much Love came along. For that reason, I really need an alpha owner who can show me the ropes and give me the right combination of exercise, discipline, and affection. Anyone who adopts me gets a free training session with a Much Love trainer too so we can start off on the right foot together. So great! If you want a running buddy, hiking partner, bicycle tag a long- I would love to go home with you!
This is Bingo. He has been a man on the move - probably about 3 homes already- and he is ready to settle down in a forever home. He is a very sweet boy, mellow, likes all other dogs, kids, and women. He is a little shy around men. He isn't aggressive - just tentative. No kitties for this guy either. He is great on leash and in a dog park. He doesn't need a ton of exercise- a few short walks a day are perfect. He is very loyal and would be a wonderful companion for anyone!
When we walked into the shelter, Walker stayed in the back of her run until I stopped to talk to her and she came right up to the front and kissed my hand, as if to say "I thought you were just going to walk by like everyone else has! Thanks for stopping!" She is very sweet and now that she is out of the shelter and feeling better she is getting some of her fun loving personalily back. Walker is named after one of our great volunteers who has gone above and beyond to help our animals.
