Meet Sombra! (Sombra is Spanish for shade or shadow.) Sombrita is a beautiful 12-month old female with a mellow and super sweet personality. She loves being scratched behind the ears, and easily warms up to new people. When she is not exploring her surroundings, she enjoys long sits on windowsills and chasing pajama pants. One month ago, Sombra was found in a very bad state. She was lying behind trash bins, seemingly lifeless. She was dehydrated, malnourished, and limping. Flies even festered around the feces that somehow caked to her fur. Sombra was quickly taken to the vet where she received medical treatment for bite wounds on her rear legs; evidently, she was attacked while living on the streets. It has been a rough month, but fortunately, Sombra has made a full recovery and is now ready for a permanent and loving home. She is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and housetrained.
