200 in 2012

WE DID IT!

Much Love Animal Rescue’s goal for 2012 was to rescue

at least 200 homeless dogs and cats from LA streets & shelters

Much Love rescued 212 dogs and cats in 2012.  Thank you to all of our volunteers, fosters, adopters, and supporters for helping us reach our goal!!

The past few years have been tough on all of us.  During a time when people were saving every penny for their own family, non-profit groups like ours – who run entirely on donations and fundraising – felt the hit as well.

Much Love Animal Rescue was ready to move forward in 2012 and save more lives in each year to come.  We were excited to kick off 200 in 2012.  On November 14th – we reached 200 with newest addition – Benny!  We were thrilled to reach our goal in saving so many lives and happy we will surpass that goal by the end of the year.

Much Love Animal Rescue will always rescue the senior animals, the terrier with one eye, the kitten with 3 legs, the pit puppies with mange, the poodle with pneumonia – but also those highly adoptable animals we place in a few days, but who get over-looked in the shelters simply because there are too many there.

Our plan is always to decrease the numbers of animals in the shelters, in hope to create space so less are euthanized each year.  200 might not sound like a lot to some of you, but it literally meant life for those dogs and cats we rescued, and also for the ones who got to live a little longer in the shelter, and hopefully be adopted, because of the space we made.

Thank you to all of our supporters!
